Jones is perhaps best known for his portrayal of Darth Vader in the *Star Wars* franchise, a role that solidified his status as a cultural icon. His deep, resonant voice not only brought life to the menacing character but also made him a beloved figure in film history. He also voiced Mufasa in Disney’s *The Lion King*, further showcasing his vocal talents and ability to connect with audiences across generations.
Over his illustrious career, which spanned more than six decades, Jones received numerous accolades, including three Tony Awards, two Emmy Awards, and a Grammy.
