ATLANTA, GA — August 24, 2025 —
The Nation of Cherut proudly concluded its transformative participation in the landmark 125th National Black Business Conference, hosted by the National Alliance for Black Business (NABB) and led by Dr. Ken Harris, CEO of the National Business League. The conference convened over 3,000 delegates from more than 30 Pan-African nations, representing an unprecedented assembly of Black entrepreneurs, business leaders, policymakers, and innovators.

Held during National Black Business Month, the conference emphasized a Unified Black Business Agenda under the theme “WE ARE TOGETHER,” highlighting unity, strength, and purpose among Black businesses worldwide.

The week featured opening receptions, a powerful Pan-African Day Luncheon fostering international collaboration, and the Birth of a New Nation Summit & Empowerment Series, co-hosted by the Nation of Cherut and The Ishola Empire. The summit brought visionary leadership to the fore, including keynote Dr. Boyce Watkins, founder of The Black Business School.

The prestigious Booker T. Washington Black Tie Gala provided a grand closing to the conference, celebrating 125 years of Black enterprise and leadership with national delegates prominently recognized. The Gala’s keynote was delivered by Kenneth B. Morris Jr., the great-great-great-grandson of Frederick Douglass and great-great-grandson of Booker T. Washington, who recounted the inspiring story of his family’s legacy and the powerful continuity of Black leadership.

Dr. Ken Harris and Dr. Boyce Watkins urged attendees to embrace unity without ego, calling themselves “Negroes with no egos” committed to fostering a thriving Black business ecosystem.

“In economic sovereignty, our strength is collective. This conference shows what can be achieved when we work together,” said Dr. Harris.

With a robust agenda of expert panels, networking events, and a Black Buyer–Supplier Marketplace, the event provided practical opportunities for entrepreneurs and business leaders to grow and collaborate across the Pan-African diaspora.

The Nation of Cherut thanks all delegates, partners, and organizations who contributed to this historic celebration of Black business and economic empowerment.
