A Disney cruise vacation turned into a dramatic rescue operation on Sunday, June 29, when a young girl fell overboard from the fourth deck of the Disney Dream as it sailed between the Bahamas and Fort Lauderdale. In a split-second act of courage, her father jumped into the Atlantic after her, sparking a swift emergency response from both crew and passengers.

Eyewitnesses reported hearing the urgent “man overboard” alarm—code “Mr. MOB, port side”—over the ship’s intercom, which immediately mobilized the crew.
