Aaron Judge signs with Jordan

Yankees star Aaron Judge has signed a deal as a Jordan Brand-sponsored athlete, the company announced on Friday.

Judge joins fellow MLB players such as Mookie Betts, Manny Machado, Jazz Chisholm Jr. and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. as athletes sponsored by Jordan Brand.

As a reward for breaking the AL record for home runs  in a season and winning the 2022 AL MVP, Judge inked a lucrative nine-year, $360 million deal in the off-season.

Judge and the Yankees, however, have not been able to replicate the same level of play that they had reached last year and the playoffs look like a long shot at this moment in time.

The Yankees are 60-61 and currently sit last in the AL East, putting them at risk of their first losing season since 1992.
